50 Cent album Before I Self-Destruct

According to the news, Hip-Hop star 50 Cent revealed in a radio interview that his latest album Before I Self-Destruct will be out in stores in June 19. Making his own remarks over the upcoming album 50 Cent said that his third album is better than his previous two albums Get Rich or Die Tryin and The Massacre. It is also known that the album will feature production by J.R. Rotem, Rich Harrison and also Timberland. Lets hope for the best! Details about 50's upcoming album Before I Self-Destruct are yet to be revealed.

According to the news, Rap star LL Cool J is in negotiations to to represent popular lip balm brand, Chapstick while Hip-Hop star 50 Cent is in negotiations with Glacéau Vitaminwater. The move is believed to be a strategy of LL Cool J and 50 Cent who are seeking more popularity as celebrities. (Why shouldn't they?) LL Cool J is also reportedly searching to endorse a vitamin supplement for the fitness/training market, especially that in Dec. 2006 he released his book Platinum Body. As for 50 Cent he will certainly star in the grape flavored Vitaminwater energy drink's first national TV ad campaign now that he is also an Glacéau' investor. The rapper also has in mind to release a new energy drink this year, following the debut of Vitaminwater energy drink, Formula 50.

Anyway as for the music side, Hip-Hop Celebrity 50 Cent will executive producing LL Cool J's 13th album titled Exit 13, which hits stores in May while 50 Cent's album Before I Self Destruct is due to hit stores in June.

It's an obvious fit. LL has been licking his lips for 20 years. They'll get to speak to people who normally would not pick up Chapstick.

I think when people hear 50 Cent they directly associate it with the music and the aggressive content in the music. So I told them to use my real name and put 50 Cent in the middle. I think fans might be disappointed when they see my character and he doesn't have that same aggressive edge that they're familiar with from 50 Cent, the rapper.

According to the news, Hip-Hop star The Game has restart his so called end feud with Hip-Hop heavyweight with 50 Cent, insisting the rapper and his "dead" brand G-Unit collapsed as soon as he came on the scene. Last month The Game urged 50 Cent to end their long time feud during a New York radio interview. With no answer from 50 Cent, The Game since slammed the Hip-Hop Celebrity and his record label yet again, insisting he's "flat out better" than 50'. The Hip-Hop stars feud started when 50 kicked The Game out of his group G-Unit in February 2005. It was a long-feud between the stars with fights and makes-up.

When (50 Cent) looks at himself in the mirror at home he probably drops tears 'cos no matter what he does I'm flat out better than him. G-Unit is dead as a brand. People just aren't into wearing their stuff anymore because I came out and dismantled their whole crew, record label and a group. Although the film posters showing him holding a gun and a baby received many of complaints, and in the US a man was shot dead during a screening of the movie, at the UK premiere in London's Leicester Square, the Hip-Hop star 50 Cent said his image was no worse than James Bond.

Using guns or weapons to market a film is not unusual. You know what the logo for 007 is. You've seen Rambo and Terminator. It's part of entertainment. In the US, they talk about the violence in the film, and they forget Jarhead came out the same week.

Unfortunately a man was shot and killed this weekend after watching 50 Cent new movie 'Get Rich Or Die Tryin'' in Pensylvania. The man, named Sheldon Flowers, 30, was shot three times. His death was the result of an argument between him and three other people at the Loews Cineplex at West Homestead, near Pittsburgh.
According to the police, Flowers, who was watching a screening of 'Get Rich Or Die Tryin'', died in hospital and was carrying an unregistered gun without a permit.
Meanwhile, the cinema have removed the film from their programme while the police investigation continues.

I feel for the victim's family in this situation. But you know, these weren't kids. This was a 30-year-old man who had a dispute with three other guys.

Although in the movie, 50 made reference to his own feelings the rapper declared that, because he actually lived that incident in the real life, it was much easier for him to give authenticity to his character.

I think it might be helping me in this role. If you had to research what it would feel like to experience anything like that, you have to just imagine what it would be like. Whereas I have a reference to it in my head. I can get there a little easier than someone who hasn't been through it.

People think that because you're playing a character that's based on you, you don't actually have to act. That's not true. You have some advantages because you can make reference to your own feelings.

But the disadvantage is that you have to snap out of those feelings and move on to the next scene. We were doing the operating room scene, and the next scene we shot was damn near comedy. You know, I got to be able to get back into that mood so I can do that.

I do appreciate it. They are talking about it on media outlets I didn't have plans to market the movie to. They are helping me out. I understand people had picket signs protesting, saying my poster is violent because they see a gun. They've seen a gun in tons of film advertising.

If we walk into our local Blockbuster or place where we can rent a video, we'll see every kind of gun they manufacture on the cover of these films as a marketing tool. Some of these people just have an overall outlook on me that's negative.

There is one poster particular which shows 50 Cent stripped to the waist from the back with his tattoos, holding a microphone in one hand and a gun in the other.

Paramount Pictures received a letter from Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael Antonovich urging that the billboards be removed, starting with one outside an Altadena school, because of recent gang activity in the neighbourhood.

US investigators claim to have found evidence of an assassination plot against 50 Cent. Curtis Jackson, survived nine gunshots in May 2000, but refused to cooperate with police.
According to the court documents, federal investigators believed there was a possible conspiracy between the New York drug lord Kevin "Supreme" McGriff and some employees of the music label Murder Inc to kill the rapper.
The investigators have also examined whether the killing of Jam Master Jay, member of Run DMC, in 2002 was connected to the feud between 50 Cent and McGriff. Other deaths have included Tupac Shakur and Notorious BIG.

The celebration was doubled for the rapper's upcoming book, The Massacre re-issue, movie and the releases of Tony Yayo and singer Olivia. A few were able to get a copy of 50's new book, which was co-written by journalist Kris Ex. The semi-autobiography, From Pieces to Weight: Once Upon a Time in Southside, Queens, is a joint venture with MTV Books. Black Entertainment Television was also present at the party taping an upcoming special on 50 Cent and his many projects.

Eminem and 50 Cent's tour bus crashed, after hitting two trucks on an interstate highway. The crash occurred on Interstate 70 near Odessa, about 40 kilometers east of Kansas City and one of the witnesses estimated the bus was traveling at up to 144 kilometers per hour. The bus was on its way to an Anger Management tour date when it crashed in Missouri, Eminem and 50 Cent were not on the bus, but some members of their entourages were not so lucky.

Rap star Stat Quo and Eminem's DJ, Alchemist were injured and hospitalized for minor injures. At least seven people from the tour got hurt.

Despite the incident, the Anger Management tour in Denver, Colorado went ahead as planned.

According to the lawsuit, filed in May 31, Los Angeles U.S. District Court, 50 Cent has sued three video production companies, because they used footage from an interview without an agreement.

Curtis James Jackson III says that he agreed to do an interview with Czar Entertainment Inc. about Kelvin Martin, a 1980s criminal who went by the street name 50 Cent, but the free interview was to be used for a video series to be called Infamous Times.
It seems that in return, the company agreed to make a donation to Martin's family or to 50 Cent's charity, the G-Unity Foundation.

Czar Entertainment failed to make the donation and instead used the footage for a DVD called The Original 50 Cent: The True Story of the Legend Who Inspired the Biggest Name in Rap.

50 CENT threatened to shoot his protage THE GAME if he comes near him with his AK47 gun.
After a member of 50 Cent's entourage was left with wounds form a gunshot to his buttocks and leg in February, Jayceon Taylor fell out to his mentor, not log after 50 Cent announced he was parting ways with The Game.
Curtis Jackson ( 50 Cent ) considers that the rapper is a wanna be gangster who would die at the hand of his entourage if he attempted a gun attack.

He talks about his guns to make people think he's a gangster, bust he is not. I don't say things like that because law enforcement might be reading, but I am well protected.

50 Cent was shot nine times

After he was shot nine times, 50 Cent decided not to go back in his neighborhood, were he can be attacked or even shot again. His concern is his family, because his temper even presence can hurt them.

If I go back to the 'hood and they mistake me for being different now and do something (in reaction to that), I may not respond right there myself. But I would feel like I gave them the opportunity (to shoot someone). I'm preventing them from hurting themselves by not being available for them to make that mistake.

I keep myself away from situations that I know will aggravate me to the point that I could possibly do something that ain't healthy for me. The only thing I'm afraid of is me.
